Kevin Christian, a doctoral student in the Higher Education Program, co-presented with Mr. William J. Thomas, President and CEO of the Tipper Foundation, at the 9th Annual Black, Brown and College Bound Conference held in Tampa, Florida. Afterwards, they were invited by the President of Hillsborough Community College, Dr. Kenneth Atwater, to his President's Reception, where they had the opportunity to meet the keynote speaker Steve Harvey.
