Jill Manuel recently presented at Immaculata University on “Supporting Students through Trauma-Informed Practices,” sharing strategies to foster resilience and equity in educational settings. She also participated in the graduate research poster competition with her project, “From Awareness to Action: Embedding Trauma-Informed Practices in Higher Education,” which explores institutional approaches to supporting students impacted by Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Her poster earned the People’s Choice Award in the graduate division, recognizing her commitment to advancing trauma-informed practices in higher education.
