The Higher Education Program recognizes William Kenyon Hatheway for receiving the Chancellor's Fellowship for academic year 2022-2023.
Will was recognized as one of the Classified employees across VCCS to pursue degree studies which will enhance his ability to contribute to the community college mission.
This fellowship recognizes the contributions of an employee who serves in a full-time, state-funded classified position at a community college or a Systems Office & has the college president's recommendation.
The Chancellor's fellowship includes:
- Financial support for tuition and mandatory fees.
- One semester or one academic year leave of absence with 3/4 pay.
- Continuation of insurance, retirement, the State’s portion of health insurance and seniority.
