Dr. Mark Elliot Bergman, an alumni of the Doctor of Arts program in Higher Education (2015) announces the upcoming publication of his article "Different Strokes: Giambattista Cimador's chamber music arrangement of Mozart's Haffner (no. 35) and Paris (no. 31) Symphonies." This article was accepted for publication by the International Society of Bassists peer-reviewed Online Journal of Bass Research. His article explores the relationship of Cimador's early 19th-century chamber music arrangements to Mozart's source material. Dr. Bergman's analysis, along with a critical edition of the score and performance parts, will be published in the summer of 2022.
