ACE Research Internship Opportunities

The American Council on Education is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 ACE Graduate Research Associate (GRA) Program at https://bit.ly/2BC1ASp

The GRA program has been around for a more than six years and is designed to provide master’s and doctoral students (and recent graduates) with an opportunity to gain real-world experience conducting research to inform both policy and practice from within a leading national higher education association. GRAs spend 9 to 12 months working in Washington, DC, to produce a variety of original research papers and issue briefs and participate in professional development opportunities throughout the year.

GRAs are paid $3,588 per month and work 35 hours per week with the option to work a compressed schedule. This has generally meant GRAs work four days a week and dedicate the fifth day to working on their dissertations or publications.

There is some scheduling flexibility (including start and end dates and travel). For those who require access to restricted use data files from the Department of Education, microdata from NPSAS, B&B, BPS, ELS, HSLS, and many others is available on site.
