Celebrating Academic Leadership in Two and
Four Year Colleges and Universities

 

The Higher Education Program (HEP) prepares new and mid-level professionals for

careers in higher education at community colleges, 4-year higher education institutions and at associations, government agencies, and industries whose activities relate to or impact higher education.  The program offers the Doctor of Arts in Community College Education (DACCE), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Education with specialization in Higher Education, Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (MAIS) with concentration in Higher Education, Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentration in Community College Teaching, and Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Administration.  Through highly integrated curricula enhanced by state-of-the-art technologies to support the learning process, students engage in rigorous study of the 21st Century higher education enterprise to become informed and reflective practitioners and researchers
