Overview

The Higher Education Program at George Mason University prepares individuals for positions of leadership in teaching, research, student affairs, and administration in higher education policy organizations, community colleges, four year colleges, and universities. The practicum provides a hands-on experience for students to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting and develop an understanding between theory and practice. To assist students in finding practicum experiences, we list open opportunities here. Practicums are not limited to the openings below. Students with ideas for another practicum site or who would like to explore other possibilities should contact Dr. Lori Cohen Scher (lcohen@gmu.edu) to discuss their options.
