In this course, students discuss issues related to quality assurance and quality improvement in higher education. Students explore the foundations of the current interest in assessing outcomes of undergraduate education, as well as the purposes and practices of assessment in American higher education.

Credits: 3

Examines educational assessment and evaluation practices and methods. Students critique and design an evaluation study and an evaluation report. Reviews ethical issues and impact of assessment and evaluation for students, employees, and programs. May not be repeated for credit.
Registration Restrictions:

Enrollment is limited to Graduate level students.

Students in a Non-Degree Undergraduate degree may not enroll.
